Why Healthcare solutions in Nigeria is a priority – The Ayinke Story (The PPC Healthcare Role)
As of 2015, when the last official joint statistics was taken by the World Health Organization and the World Bank, Nigeria contributed about 19% of the world’s maternal mortality rates. This roughly estimated to about 800+ deaths for every 100,000 live births. These statistics placed us as one of the countries with the highest maternal mortality rates globally. The numbers are worse up north with over 1200 deaths per 100,000 live births in the North East.
Joint efforts to combat this disturbing trends have helped to combat the root causes of maternal mortality. These efforts include WHO and World Bank sponsored funded reforms of primary health centers and other equipment and hospitals.
And as of today, PPC System Integrators are pleased to be part of the drive towards a healthier society for all, with a focus on expectant mothers. For the past few years, we have been in a partnership with the Lagos State Government to provide premium healthcare solutions to a household name in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the state.
